Shadow Revolution

State of the Nation

The world is in the grip of terror. Radical political factions all over the world are getting what they want with fear and death. The superpowers have responded with their own anti-terror methods whether that be the stripping away of human rights or dropping bombs on weak nations. Nary a day goes by where lives aren’t lost to a bomb from one side or another.

The PCs, ever vigilant against danger, have had to deal with a new weapon. Monsters. Creatures the like of which have never been seen before. The only thing they have in common is their deadliness. Some are like a slow growth eating its prey from within, while others are an onslaught of savagery and fury.

The Hells Angels

The Hell's Angels are taking over. Ever since they hooked up with their new distributor they have had more Heroin then they know what to do with! The Angels have been opening new chapters and moving west across Canada taking over other gang territories as they go. It's been the golden age of dealing! The Angel's have begun to pull down more cash then they ever have in their history.

The local gangs are outmatched, the police are over worked, and violence is on the rise. It was decided that the JFT-2 (Joint Task Force- 2 Canada’s Special Forces)would be sent in to capture a shipment and shut down the operation. Their bodies were dumped at the Montreal police department. Embarrassed, the military turned the case over to the R.C.M.P.

A few weeks later they opened their Vancouver chapter. The Angel’s were represented across the whole Great White North. In celebration all the bosses decided to get together to party and organize. The decided to do it at the place that started it all, the main compound outside of Montreal, the Chateau. They decided to call it the first annual Biker Boardroom.

Pascal and Madeleine

Lt. Col. Pascal Girrard is behind a desk. His last assignment was a disaster. Under his command 45 of Canada’s toughest and deadliest, the JFT-2, were taken out by a gang of Hell’s Angels. The Army was humiliated. His career was ruined. They took him out of the field and put him in accounting.

Although Girrard spent his days looking over balance sheets his evenings were spent catching up with old contacts. Nights were for his woman, Special Agent Madeleine Cruz of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).

During a routine data review Madeleine discovers the details of Biker Boardroom. She realizes that this may be the one chance to decapitate the Hell’s Angels organization once and for all. She hesitates giving this information to her superiors. With the failure of the JFT-2, the Hell’s Angel file would be turned over to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The RCMP are not as well trained when it comes to combat and all indications are that the Angels have become even more dangerous since the last encounter.

Madeleine shares this information with Girrard. She tries to convince him to convince someone to drop a brick ("brick" is a JFT-2 combat unit) on this meeting instead of sending RCMP to the slaughter.

Pascal had a better plan. Project XTF-3: Xeno Task Force-3. Pascal proposed a team capable of dealing Xeno (CSIS term for societies unknown element) threats to security. Unfortunatly nobody in Ottawa was willing to listen to him, he was on his own! That night over poutine and red wine they came up with the plan.

Madeleine had been well trained in forensic accounting. She used her knowledge of money laundering to advise Pascal on how to siphon money from the Department of Defense. Pascal used his knowledge of security protocols to get access to military equipment - no questions asked. Project XTF-3 was born.

Pascal had been following the exploits of the PCs on the national news. They were perfect for his team. Now to draw the team together. The Lt. Col. and the Special Agent make their way out to each player individually to give them their pitch.

Madeleine and Pascal will explain that the XTF-3 is Black Ops unit and as such the government will flatly deny their existence. Of course the reality is the government really doesn’t know they exist!

The team will begin with a number of debriefings so that everyone can get to know each other. Pascal has rented a facility where the team can also get some training and learn to interact as a team. Remember that the Lt. Colonel is doing this whole thing on the sly so he will avoid getting any high priced or profile items unless the mission demands it. Also the idea is that the XTF-3 is a group of privately funded hero’s working under a government authorization. The very reason these hero’s were chosen was because they were effective on their own.

Chop Talk

There is only a few seats left at Biker Boardroom and Donny "The Chopper" Duncan wants to make sure he gets one of them. His combination of ruthlessness, insanity, and ambition has made him an excellent foot soldier. Now all he needs to do is to pull a huge caper to get him over the top.

Winnipeg has had the most success fighting the Heroin Wars. A vigilant police force and tough judges have made the difference in this northern city. After throwing some money around the Chop was able to find out which school bus Judge Harrison's kids were going to be on. It was time for the Angels to make their own justice.

By a stroke of luck a CSIS informant was able to determine that the Chopper was up to something in Winnipeg. Madeleine believes the crook may be "properly motivated" to reveal the location of the Biker Boardroom. XTF-3 is sent off to Winnipeg to follow up on contacts, find Chopper and bring him in!

One hour to get ready and another for the flight out of Toronto will get the XTF-3 into Winnipeg. PCs will need to make investigation rolls in order to gain information on when and where the Chopper will strike.

Gathering information is a time consuming task. The PCs are allowed to make four investigation rolls that will take them well into the next day. The level of success will determine how soon they find the bikers. Allow four rolls for whatever information gathering and interrogation tools the PCs undertake. Add the amount by which they succeed each roll (good information) and subtract the amount they fail their rolls by (bad information). You can divide the rolls between your players however you wish.

If they have a negative score: they see the shooting on the news or hear it on a radio. They better hustle if they want to minimize casualties.

A score from One to Nine: the PCs are pretty sure that he’s going to hit a Judge daughter and the time of the hit. Unfortunately three girls on three different buses could be targets!

A score of Ten to Fifteen: allows the PCs to know the when and where but only minutes before the bus leaves school. Not enough time to do anything but to go there and try to stop it.

A score of Sixteen and above: The PCs know when and where of the hit with enough time to take the girl out of play.

Or just pick which one you like best! Remember, it's Chopper's game, PCs may not want to make a move for fear that he catches on and decides not to show up! Interrogating Chopper is the primary mission.

The Chopper will not be willing to talk right away but deep down inside he's a big coward and will do anything to save his own skin. After a little "convincing" he gives up Biker Boardroom.

Biker Boardroom

Biker Boardroom will be the first meeting where the gang will formally divide up the country between the bosses and use their newly acquired resources to get their foot in the door down south. It's also going to be one hell of a party. The meeting is going down in nine days at a large privately held compound north of Montreal.

This compound is surrounded by acres and acres of woodland and only has one road going in and out. Eight buildings are surrounded by a 12’ chain link fence topped with barb wire. The Angels usually have two armed men at each fence keeping watch.

Meeting Hall: This is where all the festivities will take place.

Administration: The business portion of Biker Boardroom will take place on the top floor of this three story office building.

Storage: General storage.

Power Generators: Two Hydro-Cell power generators

Barracks: Private and public quarters.

Autoshop (2): Motorbikes, a few cars, and a tank.

Weapons Shed: The Hells Angels have been acquiring state-of-the-art weaponry and defenses with their newfound wealth. Their intent was to use it to wipe out their enemies but the local wildlife have also found their cross-hairs. They have everything from rocket propelled grenades to automatic rifles

Rain Maker

Pascal and Madelaine will want to interrogate Mom and the other biker bosses before turning them over to local authorities to make sure there are no loose ends. But guess what....

"I’ve been waiting to do this for a long time you son-of-a-bitch! Do you remember? Forty-five men who wanted nothing else but to serve their country and protect her citizens. You gutted them like swine."

"Whoa, slow down man. You got it all wrong! No way my brothas could have taken out that kinda heat. The man you looking for is my main man. You try to take his "H"? You end up six feet in the dirt. The man you looking for goes by the name of Rainville."

"…Rainville? Tabernac!"

100% of the Biker's Heroin, the heroin that they have been supplying to the whole country with, has come from one guy. They only know him as Rainville, a man with a reputation as being the most ruthless man in the underworld. Yeah, he's the guy that criminals tell their kids about to make them go to bed at night!

Rainville seemingly has an unlimited supply of cheap heroin. Bouches has never met Rainville and usually picks up his stash at a random warehouse along the Saint Lawrence river.

Rainville

Pascal Girrard and Micheal Rainville have a long history. For the acts of bravery and heroism during the war in Afghanistan the JTF-2 was invited to the White House to receive medals of valor from President Bush. Unfortunately Rainville's conduct up to that point included torture, murder, insubordination and sodomy with a shotgun. He was an embarrassment to Canadian Armed Forces and as such Girrard decided that Rainville shouldn't be involved. The good Lt. Colonel was putting together an inquiry in hopes of getting him discharged!

Enraged, Rainville quit the army and went rogue. He made his living as an arms dealer on the black market. Michele got his hands on everything from guns to chemical weapons to tanks. One day he dreams of stealing a nuke, just like in the movies.

Using his contacts in Afghanistan, the merc hooked up with a local Warlord named Zmarak. The Afghan general had way too much Heroin on his hands. After the fall of the Taliban there was no one left to enforce the ban on poppies fields used to create heroin. The General grew as much product as he could handle, all he needed was to set up a network to distribute it. This gave Rainville an idea.

He stole the blueprints for the portal device and returned to Afghanistan with an offer Zmarak couldn’t refuse. Secrecy was paramount. They used whatever materials the could get their hands on and went through a lot of scientists and prototypes before they got it right. In the end Zmarak got his network.

Michel Rainville had made it. He was making more money then he ever had and even set up his own little team he dubbed the "Rainmen". General Zmarak outfitted his troops with state of the art equipment and his ranks swelled with new recruits. The success of this new partnership has Zmarak spending his evenings holding hands with the other men in his tribe and dancing up a storm. The covered women look on in joyous servitude. Good times. Good times…

Horse Rustlers

Madeline cross-references surveillance tapes of the area with Bouches information on when he picked up the dope. She is able to identify the truck that was making deliveries to the waterfront warehouse. It belongs to Marc Davis, one of many soldiers who were discharged after the Canadian Airborne Regiment scandal.

When the Canadian Airborne Regiment was disbanded Lt. Marc Davis became a cattle farmer. It was hard work that became impossible after the Mad Cow scare. Despondent and broke, his old buddy in arms from the Regiment, Michel Rainville came by and changed his life.

Michel was lucky and avoided fallout from the Regiment scandal. He called in a few favours to have his record cleared and to get transferred to JFT-2 without a loss in rank. Rainville offered to store the Portal Actuator in Marc’s barn for $5k a month. All he had to do was deliver whatever came out of it to a designated location in Montreal. Thanks to his good friend, Davis was back in business.

Reverse Waiting

Marc is unaware the Michel had left a number of Rainmen to keep the Actuator safe. These mercenaries are very patient and will bide their time waiting for the best time to strike. Their primary goal will be to retrieve the Data Key, the linchpin of the technology or destroy it. This task should be successful. The Rainmen should ultimatly fail in this task. If the a Rainman can be guaranteed witness protection capable of escaping Michele wrath, he may be willing to give up everything he knows of the operation.

Madeleine and Pascal will both contact friends they have in research. Even with a full team it will take them days to determine how to make the Portal Actuator work. Without the Data Key however, activation will be impossible.

Luckily, Dr. Rathgar knows where to get another one. Thirty-five years ago he was involved on a project to reverse engineer a piece of Nazi technology that fell into the hands of the Devil’s Brigade. The project failed and all materials were stored in the sub basement of the Citadel in Montreal. Within a few hours they have their Data Key!

At this point the Farm is a strange cross between the rural and the sci-fi. A number of generators and large power cables are snaking in and out of the barn with a number of fully loaded soldiers securing the perimeter. After a few tense moments the Portal Actuator activates! Dr. Rathgar want’s to send a number of probes through to determine how stable it is. Marc will tell the PCs that he never saw an actual human go through the device before. Usually automated platforms were used to send the heroin through.

All that changes during the middle of the trials. A number of 430’jump through the portal and start abducting scientists and tech before jumping back from where they came. PCs will be "encouraged" to follow them to get their people and technology back.

Atlantis and the Neo Cons

During the final days of WWII the Devil’s Brigade, a joint US Canadian special forces team, "liberated" a number of German scientists. Their debriefing led to the discovery of the "Portal Actuator" a device they claimed was discovered in the North Sea. Although it was a complex machine they believed it to be older than Jesus Christ! Hitler’s historians believed it to be a relic of Atlantis.

The Brigade thought these stories were total fantasy and took these items home as trophies. Harris Stevens kept his actuator as a family heirloom while Tom McNaughton’s actuator was turned over to the Canadian government after his death in 1965. Unable to make heads or tails of it they locked it away at the Citadel military facility in Montreal.

The Stevens family became very wealthy in the years following the war. They began with a small investment in a Texas drilling company and a generation later they were one of America’s leading oil tycoons. At the height of the Cold War, Stevens and other Americans like them came together to see what they could do to protect America from the communist menace that threatened the world! They began to create security companies, private military, and even started their own special forces. War became their business.

Politics, business, and war became the holy trinity for these men. They believed themselves to be the only salvation for America. With their wealth they were able to secure high positions within the Pentagon with their power they made themselves invisible. Commenting on his frustration about the lack of communication between the White House and the Pentagon, then Secretary of State Colin Powel said that the NeoCons (Neo Conservatives) have effectively taken over the country! He never elaborated on the comment.

Today the threat of terrorism has every nation on high alert. The whole world is looking over its shoulder. The NeoCons believe that in order for America to endure this crisis and emerge as the dominant power in the world they would need to control the worlds energy and her most powerful nations. A recent breakthrough with the "Portal Actuator" now makes this all possible.

It talked to them. The Actuator spoke with a message from another world! NeoGod and his people are alone on a dying earth. After centuries of World Wars the planet was on its last legs. On this earth Atlantis never sunk and her people prospered and evolved, by nature and design, to level that surpassed homo sapiens. Now during their last days they reached out to the Spiral, the construct that intersects with all earths, looking for a way to escape.

The Canadian device was locked away in a sub-basement of the Citadel, but the NeoCons were never far from theirs. Once it started to speak they listened carefully. It wasn’t long before they figured out how to respond. The NeoCons found Atlantis on this earth. A large domed city off the coast of Norway at the bottom of the North Sea. They were city was intact but deserted.

A partnership was formed. With the guidance of NeoGod the NeoCons began to learn how to use the Portal Actuator and the other Atlantean technology. The Atlanteans have insisted on a number of tests to make sure the portal is safe before they step through. To this end the NeoCons have been transporting creatures from the worlds "below" them on the spiral, the broken worlds. These critters are aggressive, primal, and dangerous and would have destroyed the NeoCons if it wasn’t for the Atlantean weaponry they found in the sunken city. This gave them a great idea.

After portaling in a creature and examining it, they dropped it off in whatever country they desired. After it overcame the local defense force, they would send their troops to take it out, for a price. Now they were able to get their troops on the ground anywhere in the world they wanted. These were the first tiny steps on the road to world domination. America’s prevalence in the world would be assured!

Atlantis

As PCs travel through portal space they will feel their skin begin to burn until they explode in a hot white flash, they wake up, singed and bound, as prisoners in Atlantis. They will be going through a number of tests to determine what effects the portal had on their bodies. They are restrained by any means necessary.

PCs will have some type of cyborg slug attached to their head. This devise will make all aggressive actions impossible. The NeoCons can direct commands to the slug and the PCs bodies will follow.

The XTF-3 will be seated in an interrogation room with bright lights directed to their faces. In the shadows beyond they will be able to see about a dozen forms watching on.

A bald white man in a black suit will enter the room to begin the interrogation. He will explain that the PCs are lucky to be alive. It was merely by chance that one of their operators discovered their degrading patterns in the space between worlds, they were led to believe that such exposure was immediately fatal. They had no choice but to recover them for examination. Now it was time to return the favor.

"How long has the Canadian government been piggybacking the Spiral Tap? Your meddling has caused a significant amount of instability."

"I’m asking the questions."

"It is odd then that you would possess a Portal Actuator. We determined that your device was hardwired to a location in the Middle Eastern sector. Is there another devise in the Middle East? Are you able to transport matter without the use of a receiving Portal Actuator? You will my questions, or die."

"No matter, in all probability the 430’s would have permanently disabled your Actuator and eliminated everyone on site . You lot will remain my prisoners and be subject to our experiments and questioning until the day you die."

Commander Braxis, First Journeyman of War and Slaughter

Not so far away on a Earth much like ours the Atlanteans face extinction. Its a place where world wars weren’t numbered but referred to by the types of weapons used. There were the Iron Wars, the Atomic Wars, the Nuclear Wars, the Stone Wars, and finally the Xeno Wars.

During the height of the Xeno Wars humanity decided that peace would only come from the extermination of the Atlanteans. Scientists created a weaponized virus they believed would destroy their green skinned adversary. They were almost right. It was strong enough to kill off their women but the hardier Atlantean men were immune. The minor victory was short lived however as the virus mutated and proceeded to infected every human on the planet. The sickly human women were only able to carry an Atlantean baby to term in less then five percent of the cases. Death for the mother was always certain. As the war went on the immortal Atlanteans began to dwindle.

Commander Braxis has made it his mission to hunt down women and turn them over to the rape camps but over the last few years they have become harder and harder to find. He realizes that the Portal Actuator, a lost technology from another age, may be the only chance for the survival of their species! Unfortunately the Portal Actuator was unable to safely transfer an Atlantean to our earth. The result was always fatal. The running theory was that Atlantean physiology was too complex for the technology.

Escape!

The NeoCons promise that they will make an example of those that move against us. Canada will suffer for this transgression.

The NeoCons come in to interrogate the XTF-3 a hologram of NeoGod is with them and asks more questions about the technology they used to initiate the transfer. After his interrogation (with the use of his telepathic powers) he believes low-dimensional harmonics may be the key!

PCs should remember or recognize on the NeoCons. Later when Madeline does a search for him she will discover that he was seen inside the pentagon that same day. There was a small flood in Atlantis and the intel also has him with soaking pants and shoes at the pentagon. The quickest way to get back to Atlantis and deal with it may be to strike through the pentagon through the portal device there.

The assembled group will be quite upset that the Atlantis site was infiltrated. NeoGod will hypothesize that the portal would have detected the signal and would have designated it a "rogue". It would then redirect and materialize it to save the passengers from dissipating in the ether between worlds. It will be a simple matter to disengage this feature.

PCs will then need to escape. They will find the main lab where a portal will be open after their escape. The destination will shift between the desert, mountains, and towns of Afghanistan. The base security will be using advanced Atlantean weapons and armour to protect the base which could overcome the PCs. Their equipment is in another room and may have been taken apart.

General Zmarak

PCs are deposited into the Afghanistan desert. After they get food and water from civilization they can make there way to Kabul where the Canadian forces are based. Once Pascal is contacted he will verify the PCs and give them the necessary clearance.

The Americans insisted that more Canadian units have American observers imbedded with them. In the interest of cooperation they have reluctantly agreed but no one is happy about US troops looking over their shoulder.

The Canadian forces have been assisting the Red Cross who have been treating villagers who have been injured in the war. They believe Al-Queda wishes to use their fields to bolster poppy production and is killing those who do not cooperate.

The Canadians know that the North Eastern part of Afghanistan is patrolled by General Zmarak. The warlord is very friendly with the Americans and they have worked closely in stabilizing the region. His whereabouts is considered national security. He rarely checks in with command and is given a wide leeway.

The American offer to escort the PCs to Zmarak’s in the interest of cooperation, or so they say. Their escorts turn out to be Strike Force One, America’s own overseas Meta Delta Force.

After a few days driving through the desert into the mountainous north east they rendezvous with Zmarak’s mobile unit. If PCs are a little crafty they may find out that the Alpha Transmitter isn’t with him but he is rendezvousing with it in 3 days.

The next day the commander of Strike Force One gets a call on a "special" phone. After a brief conversation with Zmarak a detour is announced. They have uncovered an Al-Queda base in Tal-e Kmoi, they want Zmarak to take care of it. Oddly, Zmarak orders his people to burn the fields and only kill the old, the very young and the weak.

Do the PCs want to stop them and try and beat the information about the Alpha-Transmitter? Or do they want to wait, allow the slaughter, then try and take on everyone once the hook up with the Actuator?

Meanwhile back in Canada…

Michel Rainville has been in full panic mode. His operation is coming apart at the seams. The XTF-3 has brought his operation down like a house of cards. But when life throws you lemons you make lemonaide! This "Portal Actuator" still has a substantial value on the black market, and if he wanted to get back into business someone with resources was going to need to build it.

Michel and his Rainmen stole the Data Key and the technical specs to the Actuator. He and his team took off for the largest black market in the world, North Korea. Rainville believes that if he could demonstrate this technology to Kim Jong Il, the crazy dictator could set him up again. He was this close to getting back in business!

When PCs contact their commanders they will apprise them of the situation. The next stop for the XTF-3 is North Korea, mission: recover the Actuator technology and bring down Rainville by any means nessesary.

The NeoCons send a broken world critter to Ottawa to send a message. White yetti.

North Korea

60’s spy movie.
PCs meet up with their contact in South Korea. He sneaks them into the North where the all take assumed identities. They are selling a cheap missile defense satellite.

PCs get an invite to the terrorist bazaar to track down Rainville. After making a few inquiries they discover that he was staying in a temple of Kim Jong Il. They even know what building he is in. When they break in there are a number of monks, worshippers of Kim. Leaving them alive to tip off the authorities may make it impossible to capture Rainville alive.

They discover that Kim Jong Il was so impressed with Rainville’s Actuator he invited the mercenary to his private cabin on the mountain. The so-called heaven of North Korea. Strategically unimportant the security is not as high as other places.

It looks like an ancient oriental village and strong asian kung-fu spirits dwell here. Kim Jong Il is their agent on earth. He really did descend from heaven! They will have to get through his "angels" before they can get to Rainville.

Alter Nation

History the same up until WWII when Hitler enlisted the help of the Atlanteans against Russia.

As the PCs return to Canada their plane is shot down over Halifax by strange looking defense drones. After they survive the crash landing they find themselves in a strange post apocalyptic Canada.

The people they come across are few and far between, always male and crazy. Giant robots roam the land killing any males it finds. When PCs figure out that this is not their earth they will need to find the Portal Actuator and make it take them back home. The Actuator sat in the basement of the Citadel for almost sixty years, if their lucky it would be there now.

A half crazy man explains what has happened and at the end of the story a large walker breaks through the ceiling and starts shooting.

After they find the devise put it together and fire it up, the energy signature will be picked up by the drones and transmitted to the Atlanteans on this planet. Desperate for a way off this rock, the one that receives the message will come alone, hoping to use the devise for escape.

When he arrives he tries to kill the XTF-3 but a visitor from this earth will appear and use his mind to fry him to a crisp. PCs will recognize him. He will explain that he is one of the last Meta’s of this world. He had discovered that the Atlanteans were escaping from this world and couldn’t let them do to another earth what they did to his. He had used the last of his resources to try to bring them back but he got the PCs instead. Maybe they haven’t crossed yet. For their own sake, make sure the NeoCons do not succeed in their plans. He gives them a data file that he hopes can help.

The PCs take the portal back to Canada and the Meta promises to destroy it after they leave. The Meta is Lightening guy.

"Give me your women!"

Intel reports that Michel Rainville may have successfully broken into the Pentagon before. He spent months corrupting their security protocols with computer virus he picked up in Bombay. As far as he knows those codes should still be active. He’s willing to make a deal. He wants to be transferred to a comfier prison. If the PCs agree he will escape within the week.

For the most part Michel is being truthful. His codes will get the PCs past most of the security, but when they get to the part run by the NeoCons they are out of luck.

In the heat of the attack one of the NeoCons will sound the alert. He will tell his people to send the 435’s to help repel the attack. If the PCs ever get to the portal room NeoGod will step out from his world.

"I survived. Give me your women."

NeoGod will immediately head for the surface trying to find escape for himself.

North Korea
Michel Rainville has stolen the tech for the transpoerter device and is on his way to sell it to the North Koreans. The XTF-3 is sent to intercept him and destroy/recover the device. Show down with Kim Jong Il

Canadian Frontier
While taking back the device to Canada their flight is intercepted by a monster, maybe dragon or something, maybe killer humming birds, PCs force a crash landing in London Ontario.

Long Walk
Apperently society ended while they were in the air. Very quickly they discover that between taking off and landing they arrived on a different earth. Hoping that there are more similarities the travel to the Montreal Citadel in hopes that this earth has a transportation device and the recoverd piece from Rainville can operate it.

Plot

The Next Crisis
Once the XTF-3 return to Canada they will be put into detention for debriefing.

During this time, the laboratory that was studying the transporter device will have exploded, transporting balls of fire to the surrounding area. The XTF-3 will move in to save civilian lives.

An investigation turns up that the lab was sabotaged; all the remains are accounted for except for doctor Ling whose corpse has disappeared. Investigation of McLaughlin will reveal that he was kidnapped by a North Korean agent!

They believe that a Meta helped him escape so there is pressure to send the XTF-3 to retrieve him or to kill him.

What they don’t know is that McLaughlin is a North Korean agent!

Arrested Development
Upon their return to Canada the PCs will be immediately arrested. Their adventures in the Middle East have been noticed by Canadian intelligence and maybe even the CIA!

A massive debriefing will follow as military officials try to determine the value of the XTF-3. Now is the time to make the PCs sweat as analysts sweat every detail of their mission.

At this point, based on PC response, we will decide how to move forward with the team. Will they be an officially sanctioned government team? Will they decide to not to have any government connection at all? Something in-between? This decision will affect how they deal with the next Crisis.
